Job summary

UChicago Medicine is seeking a Manager of Sleep and Neurophysiology to lead onsite operations in the Sleep Lab and Neurophysiology services. The role drives quality, safety, patient experience and operational excellence with accountability for performance metrics, staffing, and revenue cycle support.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in healthcare plus strong cross-functional leadership and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day onsite management of Sleep and Neurophysiology operations.
Establish staff schedules and assignments to ensure coverage and efficiency.
Oversee time and attendance, including overtime management.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and coach staff.
Address operational issues related to IS, facilities, EVS, equipment and supplies.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies (JCAHO, IDPH, AASM, ACNS, CAP/CLIA).
Collaborate with providers and staff to optimize patient throughput and care coordination.
Monitor performance reports and adjust operations in real time.
Write and update policies and procedures.
