Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a shuttle bus driver to operate a passenger coach-type vehicle onsite at North Shore Medical Center. The role reports to the Transportation Supervisor, supporting safe, courteous transport for patients and staff.

Responsibilities include following routes, assisting riders with disabilities, and maintaining records while complying with safety policies and local laws. Per diem, onsite schedule, and competitive hourly pay apply.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Experience: 1–2 years as shuttle bus driver.
• Licenses: MGH RMV check/driver record required.
• Skills: safe driving, customer service, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, courteous, and professional service to passengers.
• Follow routes and schedules; communicate detours or delays.
• Operate vehicles per Safety Program and laws/regulations.
• Adhere to passenger limits and assist passengers with disabilities.
• Report emergencies or concerns to Supervisor/Dispatcher immediately.
• Transport passengers to destinations while following traffic laws.
