Job summary

JR Automation, a Hitachi Group Company, invites a Shipping & Receiving Manager to lead inbound and outbound logistics at the Holland, MI site. You will manage warehouse workflows, carrier coordination, and team performance while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will drive lean improvements, mentor staff, and ensure efficient material flow from suppliers through final distribution, contributing to production success and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in material management and logistics, including 3+ years of people management.
• Experience with Engineer-to-Order processes and product inspection.
• Lean/Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound and outbound shipping and receiving operations to ensure accuracy, safety, and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to optimize logistics and load planning.
• Lead and develop the shipping/receiving team to improve processes and performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
