Job summary
JR Automation Technologies, LLC, a Hitachi Group Company, is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Manager in Holland, MI to lead inbound and outbound logistics, warehousing, and team development. The role demands ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient material movement aligned with production needs and customer requirements.
You will design warehousing strategies, coordinate with carriers, and drive continuous improvement across shipping processes while mentoring coordinators and maintaining 5S
Qualifications
- 7+ years in management of material management and logistics
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Experience with Engineer to Order processes
- Lean/Six Sigma experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily shipping, receiving, and kitting activities for accuracy and on-time performance.
- Design and implement plant warehousing strategies for production materials and finished goods.
- Coordinate with carriers and internal departments to resolve logistics issues.
- Lead and mentor shipping/receiving coordinators; promote safety and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, OSHA requirements, and hazmat handling.
