Job summary

Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy in Morton Grove, IL is seeking a Shipping Clerk to sort and organize completed prescriptions and prepare packages for delivery. The role is onsite and supports our long-term care pharmacy operations across state lines, using pharmacy operating software, Dispatch and Routing software, and handheld scanners to capture barcode data.

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced shipping environment.
• Understanding of basic packaging and shipping processes.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions accurately.
• Strong communication in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Sort and organize completed prescriptions.
• Use Pharmacy operating software and Dispatch and Routing software.
• Use handheld scanner to capture barcode information.
• Prepare packages for delivery: print packing lists, inspect for accuracy, stage, and route.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
