Job summary

SelectRX, located onsite in Indianapolis, is seeking a Shipping Clerk to prepare outgoing shipments and receive incoming goods for a high-touch pharmaceutical distribution environment.

The role supports inventory control, packing, labeling, and coordinating with operations to ensure timely deliveries. Candidates should have 1–2 years of relevant experience and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledgeable in computer application.
• Basic mathematics and computer skills.
• Experience in retail or manufacturing preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and process orders including receiving deliveries and distributing packages and letters within the company.
• Maintain the stockroom by organizing, cleaning and cataloging items on a regular basis.
• Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure space for incoming items and staff.
• Keep files of goods shipped and received and prepare shipping/receiving reports for managers.
• Handle issues arising in shipping and inventory handling.
• Ensure adherence to environmental management and systems.
• Troubleshoot shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and solve them.
• Place merchandise in storage and operate packing and lifting equipment for large goods.
• Follow SelectRx standards and maintain confidentiality.
