Job summary

Prime Residential in Portland, OR is seeking a Service Technician II to uphold our community’s upkeep and safety. You will address resident maintenance requests, prepare apartments for occupancy, and ensure cleanliness and functionality to meet Prime’s standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in residential property maintenance.
• Valid driver's license for operating community vehicles and/or golf carts.
• HVAC Certification is preferred.
• Multi-Family housing experience is preferred.
• Able to participate in the shared, mandatory on call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform routine maintenance on appliances, building exteriors, doors, locks, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and safety equipment.
• Prepare and update reports, work orders, and trackers.
• Inspect and prepare vacated apartments for new residents, ensuring market readiness.
• Perform random fire and life/safety inspections and unit inspections.
• Maintain records of preventative maintenance and service requests in the mobile app.
• Respond to resident inquiries and service requests professionally.
