Job summary

Ntiva, Inc. in Lombard, IL seeks a Service Desk Technician to deliver top-tier client support and hands-on IT expertise. You will troubleshoot Windows and macOS, answer calls, handle tickets end-to-end, and contribute to AI-driven automation initiatives.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in IT, strong communication, and a proactive, service-oriented mindset. This is a 100% onsite role with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline preferred.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ preferred.
• Experience with Windows and macOS support.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows a plus.
• English professional written and spoken communication required.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming client troubleshooting calls and emails.
• Manage service tickets from triage to resolution or escalation.
• Provide status updates to clients and follow up on open tickets.
• Prepare laptops/desktops for deployment and manage accounts.
• Document case notes clearly in the ticketing system.
• Lead AI adoption and test AI features for workflows.
