Job summary

Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, Inc. seeks a Service Center Technician to support servicing, repair, calibration, testing, and quality evaluation of customer and production systems.

This position combines hands-on technical work with service coordination, documentation, and customer communication throughout the service process. The role collaborates with customers, distributors, Sales, Technical Support, Production, and internal teams to coordinate returns, clarify statements of work,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; A.S. in Electronics or technical certification preferred.
• 1–3+ years in manufacturing, cleanroom assembly, electromechanical systems, or QA diagnostics.
• Experience using hardware and software-based measurement systems.
• Basic understanding of electronics, schematics, and diagnostic troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to break down complex issues into actionable pieces.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage daily activities with minimal oversight.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access).
• Familiarity with ISO requirements and CRM, support ticketing, and work tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer relationship management activities for systems returning to the factory for servicing.
• Prepare instructions for and perform system quality checks, servicing, repairs, and recalibration.
• Maintain accurate production records, workflow documentation, and quality logs.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment, instruments, and cleanroom spaces per procedures.
• Support Sales by assessing inventory, lead times, and production prioritization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex technical issues with cross-functional collaboration.
• Contribute to product and software validation efforts through testing and feedback.
• Follow safety, quality, ESD control, and cleanroom protocols.
