Visual Soft, Inc is seeking a qualified Senior System Administrator - Linux for a federal agency project. Must be US Citizens with active TOP SECRET clearance and onsite in Winchester, VA. Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience required.

Responsibilities include managing Windows/Linux servers and AWS environments, with backup, auditing, and documentation duties. Salary is based on experience; 1099 is available only for individuals not under a C2C agreement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience
• US Citizenship required
• Active TOP SECRET clearance required
• Onsite in Winchester, VA with occasional travel to Chantilly, VA
• Experience with Windows, Linux and AWS

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers and workstations
• Perform software installations and upgrades
• Monitor and tune systems for performance
• Ensure data integrity and implement backups and archive procedures
• Audit hardware and software for compliance with standards
• Develop and maintain documentation and configuration databases
