Job summary

K&A Power Group is seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager Level 3 to join our on-site team in Dorchester, MA. You will oversee substations and transmission projects, lead cross-functional teams, ensure safety, and manage schedules and budgets for complex utility construction.

With 10-15 years in construction and a strong background in safety and QA/QC, you will coordinate with Project Mangers, Engineering, Scheduling, and field operations to deliver world-class results at sites in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Applied Science, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience.
• 10-15 years of construction, maintenance, or related experience (transmission/substation preferred).
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and construction quality assurance.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with Project Managers, Engineering, Scheduling, Procurement, Legal, and field operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and timely completion of work; set safety expectations and resolve issues.
• Manage field construction and maintenance activities at transmission/substation facilities.
• Coordinate internal/external resources to support project construction.
• Provide daily progress reports on schedule, cost, and procurement.
• Review design/construction documents for constructability and schedule adherence.
• Ensure QA/QC of construction activities and review contractor timesheets and change orders.
