Genesis10 is seeking a Senior SOAR Engineer focused on ServiceNow integrations for an onsite, multi-location engagement in Chicago, IL or nearby hubs. The role emphasizes automating security workflows, data exchange between tools, and collaborating with security, infrastructure, and ITSM teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in security engineering and hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations, APIs, and SOAR platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or related field.
5+ years in security engineering, automation, or SOAR engineering.
Experience integrating enterprise platforms via APIs and automation.
Familiar with ServiceNow workflows, data models, and integrations.
Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain integrations between SOAR platforms and ServiceNow.
Build automated workflows synchronizing incidents, alerts, tasks, and remediation.
Develop integrations using APIs, web services, and automation frameworks.
Collaborate with Security Operations and ITSM teams to streamline processes.
Troubleshoot integration, workflow, and data sync issues.
Maintain technical docs, diagrams, and procedures.
Support platform upgrades, testing, and deployment.
Ensure security/compliance requirements are met.
Identify opportunities to automate manual security workflows.
