Job summary
RTX Corporation in El Segundo, California is seeking a Senior RF Design Engineer to advance RF/microwave components for advanced radar systems. You will design, verify, and test circulators, radiators, filters, and T/R modules for AESA arrays, working onsite with a skilled team.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years of RF/Microwave experience, proficiency with Keysight ADS, MATLAB Simulink, CST or HFSS, and the ability to present technical results to peers and customers.
Qualifications
- BS in a STEM field
- Minimum 5 years in RF/Microwave design, testing, and verification
- Experience with phased array antennas/AESAs, modules, radiators, beam formers, power splitters, feed networks, couplers, filters, circulators, RF assemblies
- Experience with Keysight ADS or MATLAB Simulink
- Experience with RF modeling tools such as CST or Ansys HFSS
- U.S. Citizenship or DoD Secret clearance is required or obtainable within 1 year
Responsibilities
- Develop and verify RF/microwave circulators, radiators, filters, and other passive components for AESA systems.
- Perform design analysis, testing, and troubleshooting of T/R modules and RF subassemblies.
- Present technical results to peers, program leadership, and customers; support new business development.
