Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in New Mexico is seeking a Cleared Senior/Principal Quality Assurance Specialist to support the FENG and Isolator Test and Final Assembly Value Stream onsite.

You will facilitate the value stream, apply Plan-Do-Check-Act and defect prevention, develop performance metrics, and prepare for external audits while ensuring explosives accreditation requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline plus five or more years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Active DOE Q level security clearance or equivalent.
• Experience using Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the FENG and Isolator Test and Final Assembly Value Stream to achieve successful outcomes and to employ work practices compliant with Explosives Accreditation requirements.
• Develop and monitor performance metrics and conduct data analysis to evaluate end-to-end processes and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide guidance to achieve or retain explosives accreditation and coordinate with owners of quality policies.
• Prepare for external audits/assessments and support management reviews.
• Identify root causes, implement corrective/preventive actions, and track actions to completion.
