Job summary

VARITE INC is seeking a Sr. Technical Project Manager for an onsite role in Rockford, IL. The position focuses on leading NPI programs, managing technical transfers, and ensuring smooth production readiness for new products.

This role requires strong PM capabilities and experience with lean practices. Qualified candidates will have a BS in a life-sciences or engineering field plus 5+ years of PM experience, PMP preferred.

Qualifications

• BS degree in life sciences or related field with 5+ years experience.
• Strong project management skills with PMP preferred.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Excellent Excel/PM software skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Represent Manufacturing/Operations on NPI core teams.
• Lead technical transfer of new products to production.
• Develop detailed project plans and schedules for manufacturing.
• Conduct risk assessments and design reviews for processes.
• Prepare transfer plans and status updates for senior leadership.
