Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Rockford, IL is seeking a Value Stream Manager - NPI Ops Lead to drive strategic and tactical plans, forecast performance, and align with customer program objectives. This onsite role demands strong program management, manufacturing experience, and NPI/NPD exposure.

You will coordinate production sites, serve as the primary customer contact alongside the Value Stream Lead, and travel about 20% as needed.

Qualifications

University degree and minimum 8 years experience in related field or Advanced Degree with 5+ years experience.
Experience leading execution of processes, projects and tactics within one work area.
Experience managing projects involving electronic components, systems, or manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Establish strategic and tactical operational plans.
Prepare forecasts and monthly sales performance status reports.
Ensure alignment with customer program objectives.
Drive action plans, root cause analyses, corrective actions, and projections based on program metrics.
Coordinate production sites to ensure delivery to end customers.
Serve as primary customer contact alongside Value Stream Lead for operational discussions.
Establish controls and reporting systems to monitor progress against plans and metrics.
Must be willing and able to travel 20% or more.
