Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Resident Engineer to provide expert network design, testing and troubleshooting for Mist Wireless and wired solutions. You will support customers with Juno configurations, automate tests with Python, and mentor teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role is onsite in Texas with up to 10% travel, collaborating with partners and customers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with data center routing/switching and network architecture.
• Proven ability to develop test automation and scripts in Python.
• Experience with Junos and configuring Mist/Wired Assurance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for HPE products (Mist Wireless, Wired Assurance, EX switches, SRX firewalls) supporting customers with design and testing.
• Provide primary technical support for break/fix activities and diagnose issues to restore services quickly.
• Advise customers on best practices for Junos configurations and network design.
• Manage relationships with internal teams and outsourced development partners.
