Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP seeks an experienced Resident Engineer in Houston, TX to design, test and deploy data-center networking solutions. You will work onsite at customer offices, supporting Mist Wireless, Wired Assurance, EX switches and SRX firewalls, and provide hands-on diagnostics and automation scripting.

The role requires 6+ years in data-center routing, switching and network architecture, plus hands-on Junos expertise and Python scripting.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data center routing, switching and network architecture.
• Hands-on with Junos and related hardware.
• Experience with test automation and Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SMEs for HPE Mist Wireless, Wired Assurance, EX switches, and SRX firewalls.
• Provide break/fix support and design guidance for customer networks.
• Mentor junior staff and work with partners on engineering projects.
