Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks an experienced Network Operational Resident Engineer to deliver on-site network design, deployment, and optimization for our enterprise customers in the United States. You will work primarily at client offices with responsibilities spanning from design through post-deployment support.

The role emphasizes strong JUNOS CLI proficiency, wireless integration, and collaboration with peer engineers to ensure high customer satisfaction and successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in design, implementation and operations of large-scale IP networks.
• Strong knowledge of JUNOS CLI and Juniper hardware (QFX/EX).
• Experience with enterprise wireless environments, APs and controllers.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues across data center and enterprise networks.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site delivery of network design, deployment and optimization for enterprise customers.
• Conduct workshops to capture customer requirements and translate to design specs.
• Develop and validate network configurations, test plans and cutover activities.
• Troubleshoot production networks, manage incidents and coordinate with JTAC and engineering teams.
• Provide knowledge transfer and training to customer teams on configurations and best practices.
• Create and maintain operational runbooks and procedures.
