Job summary

DataStaff, Inc. is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for a long-term contract in Mechanicsville, VA. This on-site role focuses on implementing and supporting the client’s IT network infrastructure, with emphasis on documentation and reliability.

The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience with enterprise routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless access points, plus strong network design and fault-tolerant architectures. Cloud networking exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with enterprise routers, switches, VPN concentrators, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• 8+ years of hands-on work configuring routers/switches and WAPs.
• 8+ years of designing, installing and troubleshooting LAN/WAN networks.
