Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Senior P&O Business Partner to lead human resources for the Contract Logistics/Solutions divisions in Texas. The role sits onsite inside a Dallas–Fort Worth warehouse and works with travel teams, overseeing hiring, onboarding, payroll, benefits and compliance.

The successful candidate will drive recruiting strategies, provide guidance on HR programs, and collaborate with site leadership to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or a related field and 7 years’ experience in HR.
• Must have strong employee relations and performance management experience – minimum 5 years.
• Must have strong recruitment experience – minimum 5 years.
• Minimum 2 years freight forwarding/Transportation industry experience or experience in a 4PL/Contract Logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Implements, interprets and administers personnel and labor relations programs and initiatives.
• Manages compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action policies.
• Provides leadership and guidance on workforce goals and objectives.
• Recruites, Hires, trains, evaluates, and terminates assigned personnel.
• Manages HR administration for hires, promotions, transfers, leaves, grievances and terminations.
• Coordinates with site management and external representatives on HR projects and operations.
• Uses feedback to monitor projects and implements process improvements.
