RTX in El Segundo, CA is seeking an experienced Senior Principal Electrical or Computer Engineer to shape testbench design, verification for high‑performance ASICs and FPGAs within Mission Systems.

You will lead verification efforts, develop SystemVerilog/VHDL testbenches, and drive improvements in the FPGA verification flow while collaborating across teams. A current security clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• RTL coding and simulation experience in VHDL or Verilog.
• Testbench development for RTL verification using VHDL and/or SystemVerilog.
• Familiarity with chip‑level verification techniques and SystemVerilog.
• Experience with revision control tools (Git, Subversion).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a matrixed project environment.
• Typically requires STEM degree with 10+ years experience or advanced degree with 7+ years.

Responsabilités

• Verification environment architecture and design using SystemVerilog with UVM/UVM-F.
• Create written test plans, tests, code coverage tracking, and functional coverage tracking.
• Testbench development for RTL verification using VHDL or SystemVerilog.
• Recommend new tools and practices for FPGA verification flow improvements.
• Contribute to engineering estimates for new programs.
• Provide technical leadership for project verification teams, planning activities and status reporting.
