Job summary

SuperbTech, Inc. is seeking a Senior Fixed Asset Accounting Analyst to join our corporate Accounting and Finance team in Plano, TX. You will manage fixed asset records, depreciation, capitalization, transfers, disposals, and support close and audit activities.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in fixed asset or lease accounting, hands-on SAP ERP experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and a public accounting background. CPA preferred, onsite work only.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Public accounting experience required.
• 3+ years hands-on fixed asset accounting and/or lease accounting.
• 3–10 years total accounting experience.
• Hands-on SAP ERP experience.
• Strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge.
• Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, depreciation, capitalization, and close.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Plano, TX, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fixed asset accounting records and asset registers.
• Record and review asset acquisitions, transfers, retirements, and disposals.
• Perform depreciation calculations and capitalization of assets.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
• Assist with lease accounting administration and asset tracking.
• Conduct asset audits and coordinate corrective actions.
• Support capital expenditure budgeting and forecasting.
• Prepare management reporting and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Operations and IT for accurate asset tracking and accounting treatment.
• Support internal and external audit requests.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen controls and streamline processes.
