Job summary

Energy Transfer in Dallas, TX is seeking a Fixed Asset Accountant/Analyst to perform capital expenditure reviews, CIP monitoring, and asset unitization across multiple ledgers in GAAP, regulatory, and tax contexts.

You will maintain fixed asset records, run monthly/quarterly close, support SOX audits, and assist regulatory reporting. Requires Bachelor's degree and 2–5 years' experience; SAP experience preferred; Excel proficiency essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with fixed asset systems and Excel required.
• Preference for SAP experience and GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Review AR to validate capitalization as a capital expenditure.
• Monitor CIP and coordinate with field personnel for in-service dates.
• Collaborate to ensure accuracy of charges, closure, and unitization.
• Maintain fixed asset records across multiple ledgers (GAAP, regulatory, tax).
• Perform roll-forward, variance analysis, and close tasks.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual capital expenditure reporting.
• Support quarterly financial and SOX audits.
• Assist regulatory reporting, rate cases, and inquiries.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.
