Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for a fully on-site role in Milpitas, CA. The position focuses on complex preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems for a GMP life sciences client site. Monday–Friday with 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. core hours and overtime as needed.

You will work under general direction, possess specialized knowledge, and hold a valid driver’s license to support building operations and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• HVAC/mechanical repairs and building systems experience.
• BMS experience with Metasys preferred.
• Must hold active & valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility for overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complies with codes, regulations and safety directives.
• Operates, maintains, and monitors building systems and equipment.
• Oversees outside contractors and ensures work quality.
• Maintains lighting, fire detection and life safety systems.
• Documents tasks, estimates time/materials, and orders supplies.
• Responds to emergencies and customer concerns.
