Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Commercial HVAC Engineer to support a large campus in San Jose, CA. You will perform maintenance, repair, and installation tasks on building systems and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

The role requires experience with HVAC/R systems, BMS, and adherence to codes and safety. The schedule features a 12-hour day shift, Saturday–Tuesday with every other Wednesday off, and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required with 4–5 years related experience.
• EPA I & II, Universal preferred.
• Must meet physical requirements including bending, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain HVAC/R systems and related instrumentation.
• Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on building HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose equipment failures and determine corrective actions.
• Mentor others and share knowledge within the function.
• Lead by example and support CBRE RISE values in team efforts.
• Work with BMS to supervise and adjust building operations.
