Job summary

Related Midwest in Chicago is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the development accounting team. You will manage all accounting activities for assigned projects, mentor juniors, and coordinate with construction, development, finance, tax and legal.

Responsibilities include reviewing payment applications, overseeing Textura processing, reconciling costs to the general ledger, and producing timely reports for consolidated financial analysis and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate development & general contracting.
• Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, ability to prioritize & multitask.

Responsibilities

• Review and/or prepare applications for payment (G702/703) from contractor or owner perspectives.
• Oversee Textura processing for contracts, designers, and vendors.
• Support e-Builder functionality and reconcile project costs to GL monthly.
