Job summary

K is seeking an experienced Seibi Technician Trainer to support training and equipment activities in a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment. This is a 50/50 training and hands-on role, leading classroom and on-floor training for new and experienced technicians while supporting equipment startup, trials, and Seibi activities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Seibi, automotive maintenance or related manufacturing experience.
• Extensive Toyota manufacturing or supplier experience preferred.
• Strong Toyopuc PLC troubleshooting and logic modification experience.
• Experience with Omron PLCs preferred.
• Proven ability to train and mentor technicians.
• Experience developing training materials and curricula.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom and hands-on training for Seibi and maintenance technicians.
• Conduct bootcamps for new hires and ongoing training for staff.
• Develop and update technical training curricula and lesson plans.
• Provide training support for Body Weld, Paint, and Assembly operations.
• Train technicians on equipment troubleshooting, PLCs, robotics, and automation.
• Perform offline and online robot programming.
• Troubleshoot and modify Toyopuc and Omron PLC logic.
• Support equipment installation, trials, commissioning, and startup.
• Travel to North American plants and suppliers as required.
