Job summary
ADP, Inc. in Georgetown, KY seeks an experienced Seibi Technician Trainer to support technical training and equipment activities in a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment.
This unique 50/50 role leads classroom and hands-on training while supporting troubleshooting, installation, trials, startup, and Seibi on the shop floor. The ideal candidate will have Toyota or Toyota supplier experience, strong Toyopuc PLC and Omron PLC knowledge, and a proven ability to train and mentor
Qualifications
- 10+ years in Seibi or related automotive maintenance/controls
- Toyota manufacturing or supplier experience preferred
- Extensive Toyopuc PLC troubleshooting and logic modification experience
- Experience with Omron PLCs
- Experience in technical training/mentoring
- Ability to train technicians in both classroom and hands-on environments
Responsibilities
- Lead classroom and hands-on training for Seibi and maintenance technicians
- Develop and update technical training curriculum and plans
- Provide training supporting Body Weld, Paint, and Assembly operations
- Train technicians on PLCs, robotics, automation, and maintenance practices
- Perform offline/online robot programming
- Troubleshoot Toyopuc and Omron PLC logic
- Support technicians on the manufacturing floor
- Verify new model equipment meets standards
- Assist with equipment installation, trials, commissioning, and startup
- Develop equipment countermeasures and resolve issues during setup/trials
- Support Seibi activities across North America traveling as required
