Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Network Computer Support Technician to support the McChord Air Force Base, Tacoma, WA area. This on-site role requires a current Secret clearance and hands-on experience with AD, Linux, and network systems.

You will perform Tier 1 maintenance, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and coordinate with government reps. The position emphasizes on-site availability and adherence to security policies, with potential shift work in a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• Active security clearance (Secret) required.
• CompTIA IAT 8570 Level II (Security+ CE) or 8140 equivalent.
• AA/AS degree and 1–3 years’ related experience, or equivalent.
• Onsite requirement at McChord AFB, Tacoma, WA.

Responsibilities

• Operations and maintenance of communications/computer systems and networks.
• Install and troubleshoot Cisco, Windows Server, and associated systems.
• Provide end-user support and training on networks and systems.
• Maintain cyber hygiene and report incidents as required.
