Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is looking for a Network Computer Support Technician to support the McChord AFB in the Tacoma, Washington area. The role requires an active Secret Clearance and hands-on experience with Cisco, VMware ESXi, Active Directory, Windows Server 2019 and security tools.

The position involves on-site installation and maintenance of ADCS networks, end-user support, and adherence to security policies. Shift-based 24/7 availability may be required, with travel <10% and onsite work in Washington state.

Qualifications

• Must have an active Secret clearance.
• CompTIA IAT 8570 Level II (Security+ CE) or higher OR 8140 equivalent.
• AA/AS and 1-3 years’ experience; or equivalent years in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Operations and maintenance of communications/computer systems and networks.
• Installs communications/computer systems per installation spec.
• Troubleshooting and support of communications systems/networks.
• End-user support and training on systems/networks.
• Administer network and cyber security policies and procedures.
