RCM Healthcare Services seeks a School Social Worker in Pontiac, MI, onsite for the school year. This role focuses on social-emotional support, counseling, and collaboration with staff, families, and outside agencies to promote student well-being and academic success.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Social Work, has MI licensure, and will help implement IEP/504 plans, provide case management, crisis support, and evidence-based practices to empower students across diverse needs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work required.
• Licensed Master’s Social Worker by MI LARA required.
• Full MI School Social Worker approval or eligibility required.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct and indirect social work services to students with IEPs and 504 plans.
• Conduct comprehensive social, emotional, behavioral, and environmental assessments.
• Collaborate with students, families, educators, administrators, and outside agencies to develop plans.
• Assist students in Educational Development Plans to support postsecondary readiness and transition.
• Design and facilitate programs promoting social-emotional learning and conflict resolution.
• Provide individual and group counseling to address barriers to achievement.
• Coordinate with external agencies to support student needs and referrals.
• Maintain confidential documentation and records per district/state requirements.
