Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support elementary students on a school campus, delivering therapy services onsite and collaborating with a dedicated team of educators.

The contract runs from August 12, 2026 to May 21, 2027, with a 37.5-hour workweek. The role focuses on hands-on therapy, ARD involvement, progress reporting, and implementing IEP goals in a supportive elementary setting.

Qualifications

• Active SLPA license in the state of Texas.
• Experience in school setting preferred.
• Familiarity with ARDs, evaluations, and implementing therapy plans for school-aged children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 60-80 elementary students with commitment to collaboration and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Support the assessment and evaluation process, contributing to ARD meetings and creating progress reports.
• Develop and implement activities that align with students IEP goals.
• Maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and session notes.
• Communicate regularly with supervising SLP, special education staff, and teachers.
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment to help students succeed.
