Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking Speech-Language Pathologists for three contract roles serving students in schools near Birmingham, AL. Positions are onsite with a caseload of about 60 students across high, middle, and elementary settings.

Responsibilities include therapy, assessments, IEPs, and collaboration with teachers and families. Requirements include an Alabama SLP license, Alabama Educator certification with fingerprint clearance, CCC/CF credentials, and pediatric or school experience

Qualifications

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Alabama.
• SLP Educator certification for Alabama schools (fingerprint clearance required).
• CCC or CF credentials required.
• Experience in schools or pediatrics preferred.
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 60 students.
• Must be committed to onsite services only.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language therapy and diagnostic services to students.
• Conduct assessments, create and implement IEPs, and track progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success.
• Maintain clear records and comply with all state and district requirements.
• Stay current on best practices in school-based SLP services.
