Job summary

Playworks Minnesota is seeking a Site Coordinator to collaborate with elementary schools in Central Indiana–Greater Indianapolis area to deliver play-based programs and staff trainings. Qualifications

• Proven organizational skills in planning and delivering programs and reports.
• Extensive knowledge of youth development principles and practices.
• Experience working with large and small groups of children.
• Experience facilitating meetings and trainings for adults.
• Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience engaging diverse communities and integrating into school communities.
• Proficient with MS Office, Google Drive, and virtual meeting platforms.
• Willingness to travel regionally to multiple school sites.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a consultative play-based program at two to four public elementary schools.
• Coordinate with administrators, educators, and recess teams to schedule delivery and maintain paperwork.
• Maintain communication between Playworks staff, school staff, teachers, and volunteers.
• Plan and conduct learning units and staff trainings for program components.
• Deliver onsite coaching, consultation, and modeling to school personnel on program components.
• Lead recess, youth leadership, and instructional classes to foster safe, engaging environments.
• Provide monthly training and feedback to school staff and observe program quality priorities.
