Job summary

Playworks seeks a Site Coordinator in Central Indiana–Greater Indianapolis Area to provide onsite consultation with schools and youth partners, fostering social thinking and increasing physical activity through play-based learning. You will train staff, coach recess teams, and model Playworks strategies to build a positive culture.

In this role you’ll plan and implement programs across several elementary schools, coordinate with administrators, and ensure timely documentation and data collection

Qualifications

• Proven organizational skills for planning and reporting.
• Extensive knowledge of youth development principles.
• At least 2 years of experience with groups of children.
• Experience leading meetings and training for adults.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work with diverse communities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a consultative play-based program at two to four public elementary schools.
• Coordinate with administrators, educators, and recess teams to schedule programmatic delivery and maintain paperwork.
• Maintain communication between Playworks staff, school staff, teachers, and volunteers.
• Plan and implement learning units and staff trainings for program components.
• Deliver onsite coaching and modeling of Playworks practices.
