Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support students in a school-based setting. This onsite role provides 35 hours weekly with a caseload determined by the district, and offers comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

The ideal candidate holds an active PA COTA license, has familiarity with IEP processes, and is comfortable collaborating with teachers, families, and other service providers to meet student goals.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania COTA license required.
• Certification for school-based practice (if applicable per district/state).
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to maintaining compliance with IEPs and state/district guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as prescribed by supervising Occupational Therapists.
• Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families to ensure student needs are met.
• Document student progress and communicate with team members regarding updates and modifications.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of student IEPs.
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with school district and state requirements.
• Adapt interventions based on individual student goals, strengths, and challenges.
