Job summary

HealthGrades Analytics seeks a Medical Scheduling Supervisor to lead the scheduling team and ensure patients receive timely, accurate assistance throughout the scheduling process. The role blends hands-on scheduling with team leadership, onsite training, performance monitoring, and regional support.

The supervisor will spend 60% or more of time onsite, working directly as a scheduler and with the clinical/operations team, with regional travel to train and audit schedulers across the region.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of patient scheduling experience.
• Experience with an EMR/EHR system.
• Previous supervisory, lead, or team-coordination experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned region.
• Must be onsite 60% or more of the time.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, support, and coach scheduling staff to meet daily goals.
• Monitor KPIs, productivity, quality, and scheduling targets.
• Review activity for trends and performance gaps; provide feedback.
• Provide onboarding, coaching, and accountability to schedulers.
• Develop and implement processes to improve scheduling efficiency.
• Escalate issues to leadership with solutions.
