Job summary

Zachry Group is seeking a Safety Representative to work with Line Management to communicate guidelines and safety procedures while supporting a safety team. The role emphasizes identifying facts to aid the Safety Support Team in evaluating unusual situations and building strong Operations Team relationships.

The position requires monitoring working conditions, taking corrective actions, and assisting in safety briefs, incident responses, and PPE issuance.

Qualifications

• Certification requirements for safety roles within Zachry/JVIC projects.
• OSHA 10/30 and other safety certifications are required or preferred.
• Experienced in site safety practices and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Observe site conditions to ensure safe work environments.
• Take corrective action for unsafe conditions and report to supervision.
• Monitor safety briefs and safety task assignments (STAs).
• Support PPE issuance, incident investigations, and case management of injured employees.
