Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Safety Supervisor to lead safety program development and execution, overseeing safety specialists and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and Entergy safety rules. You will drive data-driven safety improvements and coordinate enterprise safety initiatives across multiple Louisiana sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Technical degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum experience: 4 years of related work experience.
• Preferred: 4 years transmission or distribution (T&D) line or engineering Experience, supervisory experience, or equivalent safety leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety specialists’ activities and reporting on a daily basis.
• Interpret OSHA regulations and Entergy safe work rules and practices.
• Analyze safety data to identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Lead root-cause analysis teams for safety events and injuries.
• Lead Safety Advisory Boards, employee teams, and safety initiatives.
• Coordinate storm response planning and safety training initiatives.
