Accelera is seeking a Safety Specialist-Owner's Representative for an onsite project-based role in Reno, NV. You will manage safety programs, lead orientation, and ensure OSHA 1926 compliance across a datacenter rollout.

The position requires 5–7 years of construction safety, OSHA 30, and BCSP certification, with ISO 45001 knowledge. Expect a 6-month project with 40 hours/week and a $50–$55/hour contract, with a $500 weekly stipend beyond 75 miles.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of professional safety experience in construction.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification.
• Active BCSP certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety or related field.
• Proficiency with ISO 45001 and risk classification.

Responsabilités

• Act as the primary safety representative for the owner.
• Execute all tasks mandated by OSHA 1926 Construction Standards.
• Lead on-site safety orientations and daily pre-shift briefings.
• Perform routine site safety evaluations, assessments, and audits.
• Manage incident investigations and finalise documentation.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.
• Advise on hazardous equipment upgrades or removal to improve safety.
• Generate regular safety reports for management and client review.
• Coordinate with insurers, OSHA, and local regulators.
