Job summary

Aleut Federal, LLC is seeking a Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) to manage ES&H for assigned projects at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia. You will establish safety programs, liaise with Project Manager and ES&H Manager, and enforce safety standards across on-site activities.

Required are a Bachelor’s in a relevant field, OSHA 30, EM 385, and experience implementing safety plans, AHAs, and incident investigations. Must be able to work onsite and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, construction, health & safety or related field.
• Current OSHA 30-hour General Industry certification.
• Experience applying EM 385-1-1 and managing safety programs.
• Ability to manage and enforce safety requirements on onsite projects.
• Strong communication with project teams and client representatives.

Responsibilities

• Implement and administer the Accident Prevention Plan (APP) and ensure compliance.
• Ensure compliance with EM 385-1-1, OSHA and applicable regulations.
• Lead safety programs and act as site safety authority for projects.
• Maintain on-site presence, inspect daily practices, and enforce corrective actions.
• Prepare safety documentation, incident reports, and audits.
