Job summary

Aleut Federal, LLC is seeking a Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) at Robins AFB, GA. You will plan, manage and support ES&H for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with EM 385-1-1, OSHA (29 CFR 1926), and related regs.

You will lead safety program management, field oversight, AHAs, training, and reporting, coordinating with PMs, client reps and subcontractors to maintain a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, construction, health & safety.
• Current OSHA 30-hour General Industry Safety Training.
• EM 385-1-1, Construction Quality Management (CQM), First Aid/CPR.

Responsibilities

• Lead Safety Program Management: implement APP and ensure compliance with EM 385-1-1 and OSHA standards.
• Field Oversight: maintain on-site presence, monitor practices, conduct inspections and enforce corrective actions.
• Planning & Hazard Analysis: develop AHAs, communicate hazards and implement controls.
• Training & Meetings: conduct toolbox talks and safety training per OSHA requirements.
• Documentation & Reporting: maintain safety docs, incident investigations and audits.
• Coordination & Communication: liaise with PM, client reps, and subcontractors; escalate IH concerns.
