Job summary

Sewon America Inc. in Savannah, GA seeks an Assistant Manager Safety to lead and coordinate safety programs on-site. You will monitor conditions, conduct inspections, train staff, and support incidents investigations with corrective actions.

This role partners with operations and HR to strengthen the safety culture and regulatory compliance across the facility. Ideal candidates have a background in Occupational Safety, strong knowledge of OSHA rules, and hands-on experience in manufacturing

Qualifications

• Experience in Occupational Health and Industrial Safety to manage workplace risk and compliance.
• Experience delivering Safety Training and promoting EHS programs across diverse teams.
• Proficiency in Accident Investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Knowledge of OSHA and local safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor workplace conditions and conduct safety inspections and audits.
• Coordinate safety training for team members at all levels.
• Assist with incident investigations, documentation and corrective actions.
• Track safety metrics and prepare reports for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with operations and HR to promote a strong safety culture and regulatory compliance.
