Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Associate Analyst, Onsite Safety to champion safety programs across our operation. You will triage injuries, coach supervisors on safe practices, and drive root cause investigations to prevent reoccurrence.

The role requires coordination with operations, strong communication, and the ability to present safety content in daily meetings. Join a team dedicated to a safe, compliant workplace with 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or related field.
• OSHA 300 General Industry certification, First Aid/CPR/AED, EMS training.
• Experience coaching peers to lead safety conversations with hourly employees.
• Strong communication and people skills to engage employees at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate injury reporting and triage for employee injuries; provide conservative care for minor injuries and refer to physical therapy when needed.
• Develop relationships with operations supervisors and empower them to coach employees on lifting techniques, PPE use, and injury prevention.
• Complete Root Cause Investigation for accidents and injuries.
• Collaborate with management and operations to drive corrective actions while prioritizing business needs.
• Present safety content in daily pre-shift meetings.
• Participate in local safety committee meetings and support projects.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local regulations and XPO safety policy.
• Assist management with roadside inspection documentation, CDL endorsements and medical certificates, and DOT Hours of Service compliance.
• Shifts vary for 24/7 operation, including late night or early morning shifts.
