Job summary

Tetrad Digital Integrity (TDI) is seeking a Release Train Engineer to stand up a new Agile development team supporting federal IT modernization in the Washington, DC area. This role requires navigating SAFe practices and coordinating across multiple teams to deliver high-impact software.

You will coach Scrum Masters and Product Owners, facilitate PI planning, manage release schedules, and communicate status to leadership and customers. Active TS/SCI clearance and strong Jira skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance; able to pass suitability screenings.
• Current Security+ or equivalent/higher.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with relevant experience; years vary.
• Experience supporting Agile software development teams in roles such as Scrum Master or project lead.
• Experience with Agile project management tools, such as Jira.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong time management skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead ART activities and Lean-Agile practices to improve delivery flow.
• Plan and manage software and architecture release schedules.
• Facilitate PI Planning and continuous exploration activities.
• Coordinate cross-team collaboration through Scrum of Scrums.
• Consolidate team PI objectives and publish program-level objectives.
• Track feature and capability execution using metrics across Agile and DevOps teams.
• Brief customers and leadership on progress, testing, deployment status, and release readiness.
• Understand the program’s architecture to assess risks and concerns.
• Coach teams and leaders in agile maturity and practices.
• Promote teamwork and alignment to PI goals.
• Escalate and manage impediments and dependencies.
• Provide resourcing and planning input to resolve bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with PMO on program execution and test data needs.
