Job summary

Hoffman Construction Co of America is looking for a Commissioning (Cx) Room Ready Field Engineer to oversee the project punch list sign-off process and coordinate with subcontractors. This fully onsite role is based near Amarillo, TX. The successful candidate must have a relevant degree and extensive construction experience.

The position offers a salary range of $85,000 to $130,000 DOE, plus per diem and incentives. Key responsibilities include managing schedules and ensuring all project documentation is accurate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field required.
• At least 3 years of commercial building experience.
• Specific experience in industrial/hi-tech projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the sign off process for project punch list items.
• Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure completion of tasks.
• Verify all documentation is complete and organized.

Skills

Understanding of all aspects of construction

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work closely with trade and craft people

Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite

Experience with project management software

Highly developed visual observation and interpretation skills

Education

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture
