Spectraforce Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Automation Engineer for a 12‑month on-site role in New York, NY or Menlo Park, CA.

You will own the path from trained models to reliable real-time control on physical humanoid robots, building the deployment pipeline and running sim-to-real loops. The role requires hands-on policy deployment, ROS/ROS2, Python/C++, PyTorch inference on onboard hardware, and strict safety practices.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in robotics or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 5 years of robotics/automation experience.
• Experience deploying ML policies to humanoid robots.

Responsibilities

• Own deployment of learned policies to humanoid robots and maintain systems.
• Build and maintain the deployment pipeline from checkpoint to real-time control.
• Lead sim-to-real transfer with domain randomization.
• Act as technical owner in hardware collaboration with external partners.
• Work onsite with powered robotic hardware and lab safety protocols.
