Job summary

Figure is seeking a Deployment Engineer to support on-site deployment for autonomous humanoid robotics at customer sites. You will work closely with engineering to plan, execute, and validate testing, ensuring alignment with roadmaps and performance targets.

Your role involves analyzing data, debugging, and communicating clear feedback to engineering while traveling frequently between HQ and customer locations. Prior robotics deployment and Linux/Python experience are valued.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of work experience in automotive or industrial automation/robotics integration, deployment, and development.
• Experience transitioning products from design to pilot to commercialization.
• Willingness to travel frequently between HQ and customer site.
• Familiarity with project management software (Confluence, Jira, etc.).
• Experience in customer-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering with deployment and development, serving as an on-site representative.
• Develop testing plans and procedures for customer sites, prioritizing roadmaps and development goals.
• Execute testing at customer sites, including tracking and analyzing data collections and debugging as necessary.
• Ensure testing goals are achieved while meeting customer performance expectations and requirements.
• Collect and analyze testing data to improve software and hardware performance.
• Communicate feedback to engineering clearly.
