Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Telephone Triage Nurse in Boise, Idaho for an on-site, full-time Day shift. The role requires an active RN license in Idaho or Oregon and at least one year of nursing experience, preferably in ambulatory settings. Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.

Responsibilities include telephone-based symptom assessment, patient education, and coordination with physicians and care teams, while delivering compassionate care and maintaining documentation in our systems.

Qualifications

• RN license issued in primary work state (Idaho or Oregon) prior to hire.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• One year of nursing experience required.
• Nursing experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses effective communication to provide information to patient, family, and care team.
• Works independently within an RN scope of practice.
• Collects and interprets data relating to health needs and concerns.
• Integrates evidenced-based care into telephone triage assessments.
• Selects appropriate protocols to aid in care.
• Demonstrates clinical judgment and critical thinking in responses.
